I would like to tell...

Elyse De Lafontaine

I would like to tell...
2002

Elyse De Lafontaine's intention behind I would like to tell... was to use her own unique language (feather weaving) to create a text composed of words which had a construction and dynamic similar to Western writing. But as she was engaged in considering her poem on other levels, the writing became more international-looking even musicalĀ at times. The work was no longer restrained to being linear and being read horizontally from left to right, but it began to move in many other directions.
