Our Youth Services team has developed several unique collections to foster literacy and learning.The PlaySmarts collection highlights hands-on learning resources with different developmental focuses for kids from birth to age 13. From learning to count to learning to code, this collection will help make any educational experience fun!

We are excited to report that Canada geese and mallard ducks have returned to the Old Post Office Green Roof for another nesting season in 2025.A mama duck settled on her nest at the end of March. A few days later, a mama goose began laying eggs, one day at a time in her nest nearby. Like last year, we will livestream the action on the Cambridge Public Library - Idea Exchange YouTube channel, so join us in the countdown to hatching.

Inspired by the woods surrounding their home in Callander, Ontario, the artists use the remnants of children’s forts as a foundation from which to examine natural life cycles and the aging of children.
