Room Booking

Cambridge Public Library offers a variety of room options available for booking by library members and the wider community. Some of these are study rooms dedicated to quiet work for individuals and small groups, but there are also spaces created to accommodate unique learning needs and working on creative projects.

Room Booking Terms of Use

All Cambridge Public Library room usage is subject to the Room Booking Terms and Conditions and the Cambridge Public Library Code of Conduct.

Spaces, such as the Multi-Sensory Room, the KineStudy Room, the AV Recording Rooms and the Third Floor Classroom, have more specific guidelines for use. Please consult the individual room listings below and check with staff at the booking location for more information on using these areas.

  • Study room reservations can be made up to seven (7) days in advance.

  • The room will only be held for 10 minutes past the reservation start time, at which point the entire reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know if you need to cancel the reservation.
  • The study rooms are intended for quiet study and small group work. We cannot guarantee that our study rooms will be free from background noise.
