As we bid goodbye to 2024 and enter into a bold new 2025, it's always intriguing to look back at highlights and favourites of the past 12 months. It's a way to take stock of what we loved, what was on our minds, and what might be percolating in pop culture as we embark on another journey around the sun. “As we venture into 2025, it is the perfect time to reflect on the topics and themes that inspired our community’s reading lists in 2024,” said Chrissy Hodgins, Cambridge Public Library CEO.

Olivia Mae Sinclair's exceptional artwork, It Takes Two, has been proudly added to the permanent art collection of Cambridge Art Galleries. A jury chose the piece as the newest acquisition from the Queen’s Square exhibition, Next in Fibre: 20th Anniversary of Fibreworks.

Cambridge Public Library is thrilled to share that construction of our sixth location has officially started! Our new location will be co-located at the new Cambridge Recreation and Library Complex in Southeast Galt. To mark this milestone, a groundbreaking ceremony was held on October 24, 2024.
