Everyone has this secret wound, deep inside. Some try desperately to forget, to daze themselves in a frenzy of action. This production is an effort by Gauron to feel this wound, this sundering, to show it, so she can out grow it.
Vinyl is a metaphor of skin which delimits one's inside from the outside. Those pointed dowels piercing the skin talk about this wound and thus about this suffering. Use of red evokes blood, raw skin and sundering.
