Become a Member
Membership to Cambridge Public Library is free and comes with many benefits. Visit any of our five locations in Cambridge to borrow materials with no overdue fines, book a study room, log onto the public computers, print and scan your documents, and more.

- Access accessible services and collections.
- If you don’t see the book you’re seeking on the shelves or in our online catalogue, our Interlibrary Loan department may be able to help by borrowing it from another library outside of Cambridge.
Cambridge residents who do not already have a membership card can sign up for an online membership to access our Virtual Library. Consider it a first sampling of what the library has to offer that you can enjoy from home, before visiting one of our locations to discover even more.

Support Cambridge Public Library

Another way to support our work is through our Fall Book Sale. Visit any of our locations from Wednesday, October 23 to Sunday, October 27 for deals on pre-enjoyed books for adults and children, DVDs, CDs, and other items.
