Old Post Office Discovery Centre

The Children’s Discovery Centre is located on the second floor of the Old Post Office. It is a hands-on creative space for kids and families to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM).

Drop in and try out our Lite Brite, LEGO, and Magnetic walls; experiment with our table activities; build a machine with our Rigamajig; or make a craft. Activities change daily and no membership is required.

Get an Idea Exchange membership and unlock even more fun. Check out our STEAM-based books, Launchpads and Wonderbooks; take home a Rigamajig; or try out a TOTbox and STEAMbox.

During your visit, be sure take a break out on our second-floor outdoor terrace and enjoy breathtaking views of the Grand River.
